We thoroughly enjoyed the sunshine this weekend and took the opportunity to have a sunny photoshoot with beautiful Beth. The setting was our new cottage garden and props were borrowed from the studio of Sue Clay – Textile Artist at Felt Connection. Here are some of the results used in promotional images for ickle bockles new Festival Kit, a great set of travel toiletries with everything you need for your Summer jaunts!

New Charity Website Launched for the Thai Children’s Trust

Frank & Alex have just launched our latest website, www.thaichildrenstrust.org.uk for a fantastic charity that help children in Thailand who are at risk, are orphaned, are HIV+ or disabled.

The site is our latest responsive design which enables users on mobiles and tablets to view a version of the site designed specifically for viewing on mobile devices. We are now working on a shop for the trust and a dedicated site for children who want to fundraise for them. It has been a pleasure working with them and we look forward to helping them increase their sponsorship in the future.

Graphic Design for Fashion Design

Frank & Alex have been rubbing shoulders with the world of fashion quite a bit recently! We teamed up with AIDA – a funky boutique in East London – to create their Autumn/Winter 2012 Lookbook. Then heading back up North to beautiful York we have worked with another designer boutique ‘Kenzi UK’ to create their brand, their business cards and invitations to their grand opening.

The Willow Tree Gallery

The Willow Tree Gallery is based in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire in the beautiful ‘Last of the Summer Wine’ country. They specialise in quality bespoke picture framing of art and other memorabilia. In addition they offer restoration services, art leasing and hold workshops and seminars with local artists.

Frank & Alex have just designed their new website which gives an overview of the services on offer, as well as showcasing a selection of artwork.

They have ongoing exhibitions featuring local artists and often host special events, so check out the Willow Tree Gallery blog to find out what is going on!

Canape Testing

We’re having a party at the weekend so not a huge amount of work going on in the studio today due to a bit of canape testing. An excuse to eat, drink and take some nice photos of food! These mini meringues were the favourite by far!
